SMSC and British Values
At Cherry Dale, it is very important that our pupils develop a strong set of values and principles, and that they question and understand what it means to grow up in British Society.
Through our knowledge rich curriculum, we invite our pupils to reflect upon their role in society. We do this in many ways such as: focusing on key events in British History, reinforcing our 5 E’s for Excellence, promoting core values through assemblies and celebrating British events throughout the school year. Our 5 E’S ensure that our pupils understand the expectations and value of fairness as well as deepening their understanding of The Rule of Law.
