Well-Being For Parents
Parents are often unsure who to turn to when they are struggling so at Cherry Dale we offer support for you too. If you feel you need more support but feel that talking it through would be beneficial then you are able to contact Mrs Hedley or Mrs Devonport and they will happily offer further support and a listening ear.
They can offer support and advice on many areas and they can also complete referrals or direct you to other avenues of support depending on what if the most beneficial based on your circumstances.
The support might be around:
- Supporting your child's SEND needs - for more advice why not take a look at the Inclusion page.
- Your own mental health and well-being
- Financial worries
You might find it is beneficial to open an Early Help Assessment which can also be offered. You will find more information here.
There are many other ways to access support, some of which include:
Mental Health Matters - https://www.mhm.org.uk/barnsley-support-hub
Compass Be - The Climb is a parent/carer support group for parents who are supporting children with emotional and mental health needs. (see the poster for more details).
