Rewards 
Here at Cherry Dale we strive to create a positive learning culture that promotes excellent behaviour which ensures that all pupils have the opportunity to learn in a calm, safe and supportive environment. We primarily use positive behaviour strategies to promote this and we love rewarding the children's efforts throughout their school day and celebrating their hard work.
All children at Cherry Dale are asked to meet the following expectations or ‘Absolutes’:
- Show respect to yourselves and others at all times
- Demonstrate good behaviour at all times
- Follow the 5 E’s of excellence in every lesson (Listening and Looking, Concentration, Contribution, Effort
and Manners) - Follow the 5 K’s of Kindness when in school (Hands, Feet, Thoughts, Words and Actions)
- Take pride in everything you do and give 100% effort
- Complete your homework each week and on time
- Keep your planners up to date (Ks1 and KS2 children only)
- Wear the correct uniform at all times
Where appropriate and reasonable, adjustments may be made to routines within the curriculum to ensure all pupils can meet behavioural expectations in the curriculum.
